DA’WAH & CHARITY
Organize charitable programs & empower network with various parties/agencies in order to improve the effectiveness in helping targeted groups.
Invite more people to know and believe in Allah SWT. Topics of da’wah include the blessings of Islam, the correct faith, noble morals, systematic legislation and the life story of the Prophet Muhammad SAW.
Implement various social and public welfare activities such as medical assistance and donations to disaster victims, the poor and the disabled.
Forging relationships and establishing strategic partnerships with government and private bodies in ensuring objectives are achieved.
Platform to activate the spirit of volunteers and help each other in life for welfare and educational needs regardless of race, religion and ethnicity.
EDUCATION & TRAINING
Improving the level of progress and expansion of education for the unprivileged asnaf
ISDEF TRAINING AND CAREER PROGRAM
Training aims to enhance and add value to knowledge, strengthen work skills and change attitudes (KSA-knowledge, skills and attitude) required
- Guiding the asnaf towards an independent life to generate personal income.
- Participants will be given training and subsequent employment, either self -employed or an employment
ISDEF PROTEGE
Provide educational opportunities to asnaf students and ensure that no asnaf students drop out. Students are given emphasis to continue their studies through ISDEF and their progress is monitored
- Assist asnaf students to Continuing studies at higher learning institute
- Assist asnaf students will not be left out from receiving education from pre-school to higher education
SOCIOECONOMIC EMPOWERMENT
To improve the standard of the economy by providing various entrepreneurship programs to open up opportunities in increasing household income
ISDEF SMARTPRENEUR
- Sustaining asnaf entrepreneurs towards a better and highly competitive quality of life with the empowerment of entrepreneurial knowledge and continuous training with monitoring to achieve the targeted KPIs
- Aims to train and create a Mentor among the participants to be mentors to other fellow entrepreneurs while adding space and opportunities for participants to raise their family economy.
- This program applies 4 basic concepts, namely | Mindset – ToolSet – SkillSet – System | to be a factor of self -change and the economy of asnaf
CORPORATE WAQF
To add value and produce income through business and corporate efforts to maximise funds to assist target groups
Generally, the creations of waqf in Malaysia fall within 3 major categories:
- Waqf ‘am – Waqf without specifying any particular beneficiaries or specific purposes
- Waqf khas – Waqf with specified beneficiaries or purposes
- Waqf al-mushtarak – The combination of waqf ‘am and waqf khas forms the hybrid category
- Corporate entities participation into waqf affairs known as corporate waqf is another milestone towards reviving charitable act of waqf
- Corporate waqf, intends to give back to the society and reaching out to the community (muslim or non-muslim). One great advantage of corporate waqf is its longevity – maintaining corporate ownership and continuity in an effort of servicing the Muslim ummah
- Two types of waqf properties;
- Immovable properties – Land, building, mosque, house
- Movable properties – cash, shares books, praying mat, Al-Quran
